  10.           +o The online "Handbook" and several other buttons are
  11.             initialized to access the most current version of these
  12.             documents from Netscape Communications Corporation's
  13.             World Wide Web site.  If you can not access these
  14.             sites, make sure that you are not sitting behind a
  15.             firewall.  Contact your systems administrator for more
  16.             information on firewalls and how to configure the
  17.             browser to get thru the firewall.  If your machine is
  18.             directly connected to the Internet, then this will not
  19.             be a problem for you.

  21.           +o If your system is configured for a Japanese environment
  22.             the Xt text entry widget may not function properly.
  23.             Try adding the following to your .Xdefaults or
  24.             Xresources file to work around this problem:

  28.           +o If when navigating the web you download an image or
  29.             movie and it brings up a save dialog, make sure that
  30.             your system preferences for the location of the mailcap
  31.             and mime.types files are the correct ones.  Very old
  32.             Netscape Navigator beta images available on the network
  33.             saved preferences for the location of the mailcap and
  34.             mime.types files as "/usr/local/lib/mosaic".  This is
  35.             the incorrect location and will cause several players
  36.             not to run properly.  User's must verify that the
  37.             system defaults for the mailcap and mime.types files
  38.             are pointing to "/usr/local/lib/netscape".  Making this
  39.             change will most likely cause the player to function
  40.             properly.

  42.           +o Netscape may have a problem parsing some valid mailcap
  43.             entries that may be in personal mailcap files.  It has
  44.             no problem parsing the mailcap entries we ship with
  45.             this product.

  47.           +o Netscape Navigator does not use the Indigo Magic
  48.             Desktop session management mechanism so will not
  49.             automatically restart and reposition itself after the
  50.             user logs out then back into the workstation.
